Our Story
Reko and Eero met at Mäkelänrinne Sports High School in 2019, where their afternoon coffee breaks quickly became a shared tradition. The habit continued during their later studies: Eero pursued physiotherapy, while Reko focused on business administration in Lappeenranta.
One day, Eero mentioned a group project where he had conducted an accessibility assessment for a library. That conversation made them realize how small changes can have a big impact — even if people don't always notice them.
A few years later, when Reko was exploring the idea of entrepreneurship and how he could create real value for people, that discussion came back to mind. Together, they decided to combine their strengths in business and physiotherapy.
That's how Kodin Esteettömyyspalvelut was founded — with the mission of supporting safe and independent living through small but meaningful solutions. We believe everyone deserves the right to live their everyday life at home as independently as possible.
Reko Ojalainen, entrepreneur
Master's degree in Economics and Business Administration
Reko is a young entrepreneur for whom movement has always been an important value. During high school, he competed in triathlon at the national junior team level, and today he stays active through gym training, running, and hiking.
For Reko, truly listening to the customer and finding solutions that make everyday life easier are at the core of his work. He also has personal experience with the challenges of mobility: as a teenager, skiing accidents led to two femur fractures. While no permanent injuries remained, the experience taught him just how crucial mobility is — and how even small aids and adjustments can make a real difference when movement is limited.
Eero Kiiski, entrepreneur
