Frequently Asked Questions

On this page, you'll find answers to the most common questions. If you didn't find what you were looking for, our customer service is happy to help — feel free to get in touch.

1. What is an accessibility service?

Our accessibility service improves safety and usability at home and in the surrounding area. We spot risks such as slippery surfaces, high thresholds, or missing rails, and offer or perform small modifications to make daily living easier and safer.

2. Who can benefit from this service?

This service is ideal for anyone who experiences difficulties moving around at home or in the yard. Common clients are older adults, people with mobility restrictions, post-surgery patients, and their families. It can also be arranged as a preventive measure, before any issues occur.

3. What does the assessment include?

We will come to your home to assess its safety and accessibility. You will get a clear report with specific improvement suggestions. The extent of the assessment depends on your chosen service package — the lighter package covers indoor areas, and the extended package also covers the yard and entryways.

4. How much time will the assessment take?

The length of the assessment depends on the package you choose, but it generally takes around 1–2 hours. You'll get an estimate of the duration when we set the time.

5. Do you implement the changes as well?

Yes. We offer small accessibility modifications, such as installing handrails, lowering thresholds, or adding anti-slip solutions. The needs are reviewed during the assessment, and the modifications can be carried out at a separately agreed time.

6. What if I don't want to make modifications right away?

No problem. The assessment does not obligate you to anything — you will receive a written report from us and can later decide whether you want to implement the suggested changes. You can also revisit the matter at a later time.

7. How quickly can I get an appointment?

We usually can visit within 1–10 business days, depending on how busy we are. We will contact you promptly after your inquiry and arrange a time that suits you.

8. What is the household tax credit, and can I benefit from it?

The household tax credit is a tax benefit that allows you to deduct a portion of the labor cost from your taxes. Only the labor part of the invoice is deductible — materials and travel costs cannot be deducted. In 2025, the deduction is 35 % of the labor cost, with a personal contribution of €150 and a maximum of €1,600 per year, or €3,200 for couples. Most services we offer fall under the household tax credit. We're happy to help with the application and give you the information needed for your tax return.

9. Is it possible to book the service for someone I care for?

Yes, you can. We are happy to assist relatives and loved ones who want to improve, for example, a parent's or grandparent's home safety. We go through everything together clearly and sensitively.

10. Should the home be particularly clean or ready before the assessment?

No need. We assess the home as it is in everyday life — this way we can identify the real risk areas and mobility obstacles.

11. How can I schedule a service?

You can contact us via the form, email, or phone. We'll arrange a time that suits you and help you choose the right service package.

12. What should I do if the arranged time isn't suitable?

No worries. If you can't make the scheduled time, please contact us as soon as possible — we will reschedule flexibly. We understand that plans can change, and we always strive to find a new suitable time for you as quickly as possible.

13. Do I need to be home during the assessment?

We recommend that you are present during the assessment so we can go through the premises together, hear your wishes, and answer any questions on site. If this isn't possible, we can carry out the assessment without you — as long as we can access the home and know what aspects you would like us to focus on.

14. Is it a problem if I have a pet?

Not a problem at all! You can mention your pet in advance, so we can take it into account during the visit.

15. I rent my home. Can I still order an accessibility assessment?

Yes, you can. The assessment can also be carried out in a rental home without a separate permission. If, after the assessment, you wish to make modifications such as adding handrails or lowering thresholds, we recommend discussing these with your landlord first. The landlord can also contact us if needed.
